Kate Garvin is the Senior Director of the Statewide Family Engagement Center. Kate brings over 10 years of experience centering the experience and voices of families to school and district decision-making processes.  Most notably, Kate’s leadership in Aurora Public Schools’ Innovation Zone, brought forth a Community Schools framework which fostered collaborative leadership with over 72 community partners. Her work has been celebrated by leaders in public health, education, and the business community.
