Jonathan joined Keystone Policy Center as a policy fellow in the Denver office in April 2021. Jonathan supports Keystone’s work in Agriculture and Food; Energy, Natural Resources and Climate; and Public Lands/Land Use Management programmatic areas.

Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Jonathan holds a Bachelor’s of Science in biology and psychology with a minor in chemistry from the University of New Mexico. While obtaining his undergraduate degree in the Land of Enchantment, Jonathan worked in environmental education, facilitating and developing hands-on, place-based community science and mentoring K-12, undergraduate, and graduate students in principles of environmental stewardship. Additionally, Jonathan has experience in conservation planning and restoration management along the Middle Rio Grande corridor.
