Alexis joined Keystone Policy Center as a Policy Fellow in July 2021, primarily focusing her work in Keystone’s American Indian/Alaska Native Program. Originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado, Alexis holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Northern Colorado. While obtaining her undergraduate degree, Alexis served on the UNC Board of Trustees as the Student Trustee. Prior to joining Keystone, Alexis was featured at the Colorado Public Health Association: Public Health in the Rockies Conference in 2019 to engage the public on rising mental health issues among youth.
