Maddie Book

by

Maddie Book joined Keystone Policy Center in November 2025 as the Program Coordinator supporting the Center for Education, the Center for Tribal and Indigenous Engagement, and the Marketing and Development team. In this cross-center role, she contributes to project coordination, event and meeting logistics, stakeholder communication, and the development of tools and processes that strengthen Keystone’s collaborative work.

Before joining Keystone, Maddie spent more than four years at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in the Department of OB-GYN. During her time there, she built a strong foundation in administrative operations, technology support, event planning, customer service, project management, and human resources policy, skills she now brings to her work in multi-sector civic engagement and community-centered initiatives.

While working full time, Maddie pursued her Master of Public Policy at the University of Colorado Denver School of Public Affairs, graduating in December 2024. Her capstone project, completed in partnership with The Women’s Foundation of Colorado, examined effective advocacy coalition-building within gender-focused policy organizations across the state.

Maddie’s commitment to public policy and strengthening communities is deeply rooted in both her academic background, with undergraduate degrees in Speech Communication and Political Science, and her upbringing in rural Texas, where she first developed an interest in equitable policy and community representation.
