NEW NPS Summer 2020 Seasonal Jobs Posting Soon

NPS is working to help interested applicants understand the hiring process for Summer 2020 seasonal positions, and encouraging them to have their federal resumes, school transcripts, etc. ready and waiting when jobs start posting. A press release with more detail includes links to a USAJobs.gov search for temporary (seasonal) positions, as well as a detailed schedule of when the most common types of seasonal positions will be announced. The communications office also created this one-page flyer, which you can share electronically or print out and post.

Another resource for interested applicants is the NPS Student Employees Facebook page. Between now and December NPS will be highlighting the different career paths included in this seasonal hiring cycle, as well as posting reminders when new position types are about to open up.

Please forward this information to anyone that you think might be interested! If they have questions, reach out to Tegan Plock.

The target is to have them start in early December, and it’s a year-long position. They’ll work three days/week at the NPS office, and two days with mDNA. More details and requirements are available here. Feel free to reach out to Tegan Plock (NPS) or Dana Coelho (mDNA) with questions.
