Margaret is an Associate at the Center for Science and Public Policy’s Washington, D.C. office. Her work currently focuses on the Eastern Interconnection Planning Collaborative, or EIPC, which is an effort to model the impacts on the electrical grid of various policy options being considered by state, federal, and other stakeholders. She works primarily on Energy and Climate Change-related projects at the Keystone Center, including programs with DOE and EPA. She holds a Master’s Degree in International Development from Johns Hopkins- SAIS, with a concentration in governance and environmental policy issues. Before she came to D.C. Margaret worked in California on political issues and also completed a year of service with AmeriCorps in San Jose.
