Deborah joined Keystone after more than two decades in the philanthropic sector working with and donors and foundations on their grant-making strategy and focus. She has lead initiatives at the Council on Foundations; the Association of Small Foundations; the National Center for Family Philanthropy; and Grantmakers In Health in addition to working in the U.S. Senate early in her career.  Deborah holds a Bachelor of Arts with honors from Wellesley College as well as a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Georgetown University.  She has been a mediator for the District of Columbia’s Community Mediation Service and for the Multi-Door Program of the D.C. Superior Court as well as a facilitator at the Bi-Partisan Congressional retreat on Civility.
