Keystone Mountain Adventures are 10- and 14-day expedition-based sessions that offer teens non-stop action and outdoor adventure. Exploration, hands-on education, and leadership development come together for a once-in-a-lifetime Rocky Mountain experience.
Program description:
Participants will explore high-altitude Colorado by land, water, and rock! Team-building activities and low-impact wilderness travel principles are incorporated as we backpack through mountain landscapes, camp along the edge of wild rivers, and safely scale dramatic rock faces, learning about alpine and river ecology as we go. Trip highlights include a professionally-guided whitewater rafting trip, a visit to a ghost town, and an attempt at summiting one of Colorado's majestic high peaks.
