Counselor Assistant Program (CAP)

The CAP program offers teens the opportunity to serve as role models, develop as leaders, and make a difference in the lives of others. ‘CAPs’ take part in all aspects of the Discovery Camp program: Activity implementation, organizing campers, and participating in special leadership programs tailored just for them. This is a very popular program and we take great pride in our CAPs. Several of our counselors began their camp journeys as CAPs!

Eligibility: Each applicant (new and returning) must submit a one-page letter stating why he or she would like to be a Counselor Assistant for the Discovery Camp Program.
