We offer instruction at a variety of locations, including our residential campus in Keystone, several designated off-site locations throughout Colorado, and even your classroom! Each location provides unique opportunities to engage your classroom in experiential learning.
Keystone Science School Residential Campus
Our 23-acre campus in Keystone, CO has everything your class needs for a successful field experience and is an ideal location for any of our programs. Surrounded by the White River National Forest, our facilities include two dormitories accommodating 38 students each, a full-service dining hall, and ample indoor teaching space that provides a great jump-off point for field studies.
Off-Site
If you prefer, we will travel with your group to one of several designated sites throughout the state of Colorado. We provide a specialized curriuculum for each location based on local ecosystems and adventure opportunities. Overnight accommodations include cabin stays and tent camping, with all meals prepared by a KSS chef.

In Your Classroom
We can bring many of our curricula from the field into the classroom, either to enhance a KSS field experience or to be taught as a stand-alone unit. Our staff can also use the area surrounding your school and teach almost any of our established curricula.
Expedition-Based Programming
We offer year-round expedition-based programming in locations throughout Colorado, fusing adventure and scientific inquiry into an exceptional experience for your students or group.
