CENTER FOR EDUCATION

Education Policy Roundtable

If we are to solve the long-term problems our nation faces, today’s students must enter adulthood and the workforce possessing such 21st century skills as adaptability, complex communication and social skills, non-routine problem solving, and systems thinking. Yet study after study points to common deficiencies in America’s education system.

The Keystone Education Policy Roundtable is a unique forum that brings together education leaders representing diverse viewpoints. Its members understand and respect the importance of hearing and understanding a variety of perspectives on education issues. They are committed to working together to address, understand, and untangle difficult issues and cross-sector educational efforts.

Facilitated by The Keystone Center’s expert and independent staff, the Roundtable focuses on both deep deliberation and action-taking strategies.

The Education Policy Roundtable is comprised of leaders spanning all areas of education, including practitioners, policy makers, advocacy groups, and business and philanthropic interests. Membership is by invitation.
